Heidi Gunn’s God-given gifts and passion for the arts have motivated her ever-growing ministry, which includes singing, acting, dancing, drawing, painting and writing…and foreign missions work.
Heidi’s ministry with her husband, Randy and their band “GunnPoint” allows her to take Christ outside of the church as they reach countless people across the country at citywide outreaches and major cowboy and rodeo events. Her love for horses has helped her in the competitive sport of Cowboy Mounted Shooting, where she has won a National Championship title and gained respect and acceptance in the Cowboy world. This has helped her influence the lives of the Cowboy community.
Heidi, along with her husband Randy and their band have been recognized for their vocal and musical talents; winning several entertainment awards such as “Duo of the Year,” “Vocal group of the Year” and “Band of the Year.” Heidi has performed at the famous Ryman Auditorium with such icons of music as; Wynona Judd, Diamond Rio, Josh Turner, Jamie O’Neil, Natalie Grant and many more. Her version of “Winter Wonderland,” released during the 2009 Holiday Season, went to #5 in the country on Country and Christian charts.
Heidi’s drawings and inspirational articles will be contributing factors to the new GunnPoint Book and calendar, scheduled to be released in 2010. Although a very talented and gifted lady, Heidi is best known for her love of God and people. Her heart’s desire is to take the gifts that God has given her and use them for His glory.
